I Can't Even Ruin a Business the Right Way

Forgive me, Blogger, for it has been a month since my last entry. I guess it's time to come clean about my sudden dis-interest in my blog.

It started several years ago, but the story really gets good as of a few months ago. I was accused of ruining a business because of an entry from 2003 on my webpage, which no longer exists. The accuser, my dear, sweet father-in-law (please note the sarcasm), claims that I wrote negative things about his business closing and that those comments put his personal business in a tailspin.

I didn't write anything about his business, and although I don't like him, I wouldn't do something so heinous. But he obviously thinks I would. He carried this horrible accusation with him for four years and in the meantime smiled and pretended that he didn't think that about me. Just moments ago I did a search on Google for his business and saw glowing reviews for his _____ and just heard that he is doing well in the business.

Could someone ruin a business by writing negative things about it on a webpage that is seen by a couple of people at most? Who am I?! The Better Business Bureau?

So it's not that I'm intimidated, but rather sick and tired of the drama that surrounds my in-laws. One of my main outlets of my frustration was writing on my webpage/blog and I feel like I am...no, I AM editing it to a fault. I do not want him to be able to find this one, not because I write anything that isn't true, but I don't want the hassle.

So I can't even ruin a business correctly in their eyes. Man, I suck.

:)

You mean I could be a part of the Amazing World of Jason? That would be cool. Maybe I could be a guest author and write about how you should pray for Jesus to pay your mortgage! ;)
